Inspired by the Ford Falcon model, Ford Mustang was produced by Ford on March 9, 1964, at Ford's facilities in Dearborn, Michigan. When Ford started designing a new sports car, he was trying to decide on this new car, on a few names (Mustang, Cougar, Torino, Venice) that would represent the power of the vehicle.
